In the 70s and 80s he worked with numerous headline acts in various capacities. He was known as a troubleshooter. A guy that "got it done", no matter what the adversity. Eric Chipchase worked for some of the major music production companies of the era. His experience covers the whole spectrum, from dingy little clubs, 3000 seat auditoriums, arenas, stadiums, outdoor festivals. TV and radio specials, recording studios etc. His repertoire includes tour manager, production manager, stage manager, crew chief, front house engineer, monitor engineer, studio engineer, electrician.

Eric Chipchase retired from touring for a time. His related experience in this period is just as important. He owned four businesses. He regards himself well versed in "risk management", always aware of the clients needs and philosophy. Eric is very goal oriented producer. The catch phrase "the show must go on" epitomizes Eric. Even when Eric worked for others his talents where put to use for supervision and management in projects involving millions of dollars.
